COMISSION: UN France  2019

In collaboration with the artistic project Togeth'Her – Artistes à la Une and Vogue magazine, an initiative by David-Hervé Boutin, and with the support of the Monnaie de Paris and Maison Sisley, I was commissioned by UN Women France a series of portraits featuring local women producers involved in the "Avanzamos por la Igualdad" program. These portraits were part of the exhibition presented in 2019.

With the aim of improving the lives of women and girls, ONU Women, in partnership with various public and private organizations, has implemented direct support programs for local women producers. In Mexico, UN Women developed a specific project to strengthen innovative and sustainable economic initiatives for women. As part of this effort, two "Avanzamos por la Igualdad" centers were established in Mexico City and Juchitán, Oaxaca. This program aims to help participants address the challenges resulting from the September 2017 earthquakes. The actions carried out by UN Women will benefit 1,200 women, their families, and communities until 2020.
